About This Lesson
The AFT created an infographic in partnership with Futures Without Violence to equip school personnel with trauma informed practices and strategies to help children heal and thrive. The graphic features five everyday gestures to practice with children exposed to violence, from Changing Minds, the first national campaign to raise awareness about the impact of childhood exposure to violence. The project is funded by the US Department of Justice’s Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention (OJJDP). Learn more at ChangingMindsNOW.org and here.
