About This Lesson
This inclusive literacy activity combines print and simulated Braille sight words to support both sighted and blind/visually impaired learners. Students practice high-frequency words while learning about Braille and empathy through play. Includes a teacher guide, 30 printable Bingo boards, tactile modification suggestions, and online tools for calling words aloud.
Learning Objectives:

- Connect print and Braille symbols to understand that Braille represents the same letters and words used in print.
- Demonstrate empathy and inclusion by engaging in an activity designed for both sighted and blind/VI learners.
- Use multiple senses (sight, touch, and hearing) to build literacy and communication skills.
