About This Lesson

Submitted to the EQuIP Review Panel by CPALMS, www.cpalms.org. The lesson requires 11 hours of instructional time and covers standards LAFS.1.RI1.1, LAFS.1.W.1.2, LAFS.1.RI.2.5, LAFS.1.W.2.6, and LAFS.1.RI.3.7. In the lesson, students identify text features of non-fiction books and use several informational texts on meat-eating plants to answer text dependent questions.
