About This Lesson
The Core Knowledge History and Geography (CKHG) Grade 5 Understanding Economics will provide an overview of the following content: Every society must answer basic economic questions: What will the society produce? How will the society produce it? How will society distribute it? The answers to these questions are shaped by many factors, including access to resources, access to technology, and cultural values. Similarly, individuals also make economic decisions about what to buy, where to buy it, when to save, how much to save, and so on. These decisions are informed by the availability of goods and services, prices, and personal values.
