About This Lesson
This lesson allows students to better understand the concept of political representation, specifically in the legislative branch, while simultaneously researching who represents them and their community in the House of Representatives and exploring whether that Representative is doing a good job representing them and/or their community.
Depending on how much time teachers want to devote to student research in class, rather than at home, this lesson could take 3 to 4 days to complete.
Note: Students will need access to computers or other personal devices they can use for their web research.
