Leven Chuck Wilson is a versatile professional renowned as a mental health therapist, social worker, author, publisher, philanthropist, and engaging speaker. He is the creator of "Good News," a daily inspirational message that reaches hundreds of thousands worldwide. With roots in North Carolina and academic
credentials from the University of Hawaii Manoa and Oxford Graduate School, Chuck has built a career dedicated to supporting individuals, families, communities, and organizations.
Chuck has been at the forefront of addressing a range of social challenges, from gang and domestic violence to mental health, natural disasters, youth literacy, social justice, and civil rights. His innovative approach has made him a sought-after crisis management therapist, behavioral therapist, and consultant to various sectors, including the NFL's Carolina Panthers and Steve Harvey’s Boys Mentoring Program.
His diverse expertise is showcased in his work at the University of Hawaii Manoa, Pasco Hernando College and the American Federation of Teachers (AFT). At the
University of Hawaii, he was an principal investigator on 3 grants including the Department of Health and Human Services and was recognized twice by the state
senate and state House of Representatives for his contributions to the state of Hawaii.
At Pasco Hernando College, Chuck led initiatives like the President’s Leadership Institute, diversity programs, and community partnerships. At AFT, he focused on
expanding well-being and mental health programs for 1.2 million members, providing training and support across the country.
Additionally, Chuck supports the Department of Defense Special Operations Acquisitions, Technology, and Logistical Support, as well as the United States
Special Operations Command, as a trainer and workshop facilitator, contributing his expertise to strengthen their operations.
