About This Webinar

Since 2019 and over three program cycles, the initiative ENOUGH! Plays to End Gun Violence has brought together thousands of artists at the intersection of art, activism, and amplifying teen voices in vital evenings of theater that allow communities to confront the issue of gun violence. In this 2024 Share My Lesson Virtual Conference session, Founder and Joaquin Oliver artistic producer Michael Cotey will share what has been successful with this model for calling on submissions from new teen writers, how it has created a new pipeline for young playwrights; and how it's nationwide reading has led to meaningful, lasting collaborations, with thoughts on how it can be replicable on any number of critical topics teens care about, beyond just gun violence. Attendees will also get to experience some of the work created by teen playwright through ENOUGH.

This webinar is part of Share My Lesson's 2024 Virtual Conference! View all sessions here.
