Mohammed Husain
Solutions Engineer, OpenAI
Mohammed Husain is a Solutions Engineer at OpenAI, supporting the Global Affairs team. He comes with a deep background of working in and around the public sector, including compliance testing in the automotive sector, and systems test engineering for the US Department of Defense. Most recently, he comes from Scale AI where he supported federal partners with their understanding and adoption of Generative AI. He holds a B.S. Aerospace Engineering from UCLA, and a M.S. Systems Engineering from Virginia Tech, and is based out of Washington, DC.

Debbie Mesloh
Lead of Strategic Partnerships, OpenAI
Debbie Mesloh serves as Lead of Strategic Partnerships at OpenAI, where she spearheads impactful collaborations that drive the responsible and equitable adoption of AI technologies.
Debbie draws from her experiences in the public, private and nonprofit sectors to build meaningful partnerships at OpenAI. Debbie grew up in Wichita, Kansas where she attended public schools. She later served as press secretary to the Mayor of Wichita, and was recruited to Atlanta, Georgia where she served as an Olympic liaison during the 1996 Olympic Games. Moving to California in 1997, Debbie became a trusted senior advisor to Kamala Harris, serving in the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office and the California Attorney General’s Office. In 2009, Debbie served as White House political appointee to the United States Trade Representative’s Office, focusing on cybersecurity and China. In 2011, she transitioned to the private sector as Vice President of Global Government and Public Affairs at Gap Inc., where she focused on supply chain strategies and building global partnerships. Debbie also ran her own independent consulting firm, Mesloh Strategies, which served corporate and nonprofit clients. Debbie is a proud graduate of the University of Kansas and remains a committed Jayhawk basketball fan.

Kristina Robertson
Multilingual Education Specialist, Project MOMENTUM, Southeast Service Cooperative, Minnesota
Kristina Robertson is a Multilingual Education Specialist with Project MOMENTUM at the Southeast Service Cooperative in Minnesota. With over 25 years of experience in multilingual learner curriculum and instruction, Kristina has been a strong advocate for equity and systemic change in education.
Kristina is a contributing author to professional textbooks and serves as both an author and advisor for Colorín Colorado, a nationally recognized resource for educators and families of multilingual learners. She holds a Master’s in TESOL and ESL licensure from the School for International Training in Brattleboro, VT, and has served as an ESL teacher and EL program leader in various Twin Cities school districts. She is currently completing her doctorate in Educational Leadership for Diverse Learning Communities at Molloy University in New York.
Kristina’s work is grounded in multilingual learner equity through access to innovative curriculum and instruction, teacher professional development, and evidence-based practices for systemic change.
