Before the Course Starts
The modules will not open until October 7, but you can start engaging in this community today:
👋 Introduce yourself: Share your grade level/subject and a reading comprehension challenge you’d like to tackle this fall.
💬 Ask questions: Seek advice from peers who are facing the same challenges.
📚 Share resources: Swap classroom strategies, tools, and wins.
💡 Discussion Starter: What’s one reading comprehension strategy that has worked for you in the past?
During the Course (Oct. 7–Nov. 14)
When the course launches, you’ll move through the modules in sequence:
- Oct. 7–19 → Modules 1–3
- Oct. 19–Nov. 3 → Modules 4–6
- Nov. 3–14 → Final modules
Throughout the course, you’ll use this community to:
- Reflect on module journaling prompts.
- Share strategies that work in your classroom.
- Troubleshoot challenges with peers.
- Celebrate progress and wins together.
Certificate of Completion
Complete all modules and the evaluation to receive a certificate for 10 contact hours.
