About This Lesson
This is a 3 week unit plan for 3rd grade on the thinking strategy, monitor comprehension, also known as monitoring for meaning. It includes lesson 1 from the Comprehension Toolkit, by Stephanie Harvey and Anne Goudvis, which is also available on the website I included. Lesson 2 and 3 would have to be purchased and cannot be posted due to copyright issues. Additional lessons are also attached and can be found on the WRSD website that I included. Assessments are also not included due to copyright laws. Aligned to Common Core State Standard: RL.3.10
