About This Lesson
This is a two-page reading comprehension worksheet about pumpkins with graphic organizer to help students learn to identify main idea and supporting details. Appropriate for 2nd grade.
On page 1, students read a nonfiction passage about pumpkins and answer comprehension questions. On page 2, they cut out four statements from the text and glue them onto the graphic organizer to show which is the main idea and which are supporting details.
