About This Lesson
Students can complete this activity electronically or on hard copy. Students roll the dice and writes that number in the first column then records the number in the ten frame using red circles if electronic
or a red crayon if they have a hard copy. They count to see how many more they need to make ten and write that number in the second column and record it in the ten frame using the yellow circles or a yellow crayon. They use the information they wrote to write the equation.
